An Integrative Approach to Therapy

No two people or couples are exactly alike. That's why therapy should reflect your individual experiences, strengths, and goals rather than follow a one-size-fits-all model. Ruben collaborates with individuals and couples to navigate life's challenges, deepen self-understanding, and create more authentic, connected, and fulfilling lives through a process built on trust, curiosity, and respect.

Individual Therapy

Navigating life's complexities becomes easier with dedicated, personalized support. Individual therapy offers a compassionate, non-judgmental space tailored to help you process experiences, manage stress, and foster personal growth. •Neurodivergent Support: Adults with ADHD, Autism, PTSD, giftedness, or other neurotypes often navigate executive functioning hurdles, sensory overload, procrastination, anxiety, and burnout. Therapy helps you understand your unique brain, build practical strategies for daily life, and develop self-compassion to thrive on your own terms. •LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care: Ruben provides inclusive therapy that honors the distinct experiences, identities, and relationship dynamics within queer communities. Whether you are exploring identity, working through life transitions, or managing anxiety, you will find a safe space that fully respects your lived experience.

Couples Therapy

Relationships become more complicated when partners have different ways of thinking, processing emotions, or communicating. Couples may find themselves repeating the same arguments, feeling misunderstood, or struggling to resolve conflict despite genuinely caring for one another. Therapy helps couples recognize these patterns, improve communication, and learn how to "fight right" without damaging the relationship. Together, you'll work toward greater understanding, healthier boundaries, deeper emotional connection, and solutions that respect both partners' needs while reducing cycles of conflict and codependency.  The goal isn't to change who either partner is—it's to create a relationship where both people feel understood, supported, and valued.

Trauma & Identity

Past experiences — including religious trauma, racial trauma, LGBTQ+ experiences, and other relational wounds — can shape how you view yourself and connect with others. Trauma-informed therapy offers a compassionate space to process these experiences, reduce their impact on your present life, and build healthier patterns moving forward.

Through an approach grounded in cultural humility and intersectionality, therapy supports healing while honoring every aspect of your identity. This work is designed for individuals navigating the intersections of trauma, culture, and self.

Stress, Burnout & Anxiety

A professional taking a quiet pause in a modern office

Chronic stress, anxiety, and burnout can leave you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and disconnected from the life you want to live. Whether you're struggling to keep up with daily demands, experiencing persistent worry, or feeling exhausted from balancing work, relationships, and personal responsibilities, therapy offers a space to slow down and reset. Together, we'll identify the underlying patterns contributing to stress, strengthen emotional regulation, develop healthy coping strategies, and create sustainable habits that support resilience, balance, and overall well-being. The goal is not just to manage symptoms, but to help you feel more grounded, capable, and connected in your everyday life.
